CD's A thing of the past??

I read an article on the net the other day stating that car Manufactures are going to quit building cars with CD players. Due to MP3 and Bluetooth connections Cd's are no longer popular. Wow, I remember when 8 track was the thing and then cassett players then CD's. Man I am gettin old. What is going to be next, ear implants for music? Just goes to show that if you blink too slowly technology will pass you by. It is amazing how the technology world has progess in the last decade.
